Real ray skin ( same ) was used for the tsuka of this samurai sword, and the tightly tied tsuka-ito is made of cotton. In addition, the handle is securely attached to the blade tang by two pins.

The practical plus xl light katana has a kashira decorated with a hornbeam motif, a dragon menuki and a beautiful iron tsuba with a sunburst design and a habaki made of brass.
