The Paul Chen/Hanwei Wind and Thunder Series Katana was specifically designed for martial artists looking for a sword designed for heavy cutting tests.

It features a heavier, thicker blade with traditional style bolsters and fittings. The tsuba with raiden (the Japanese god of thunder, also known as raijin ) motif is crafted from blackened stainless steel. The fuchi and kashira are decorated with a Japanese tomoe motif. The tsuka is wrapped in real stingray skin ( same ), and the black tsuka-ito is made of premium Japanese cotton. The saya is painted jet black and has a black cotton sageo . This katana is an excellent choice for battojutsu martial artists.

You can complete your collection with the matching wind and thunder wakizashi (item number sh5024) and wind and thunder tanto (item number sh5003).
