Enjoy Katana of the Three Monkeys
Katana of the Three Monkeys
The three wise monkeys are a well-known image. Together they represent the proverbial principle of seeing no evil, hearing no evil, and speaking no evil. The three monkeys are called mizaru , who covers his eyes and sees no evil; ikikazaru, who covers his ears and hears no evil; and iwazaru , who covers his mouth and speaks no evil.
The Three Monkeys katana was designed with a traditional shinogi zukuri blade constructed with bo-hi to reduce weight and improve balance and handling. The carbon steel blade is hand-forged and differentially hardened. The blackened iron tsuba features a Three Wise Monkeys motif.
