Note shinto elite katana has a hand forged t10 carbon steel blade. real ray skin ( same as ) was used for the tsuka of this samurai sword and the tightly woven tsuka-ito is made of premium black Japanese cotton.

The saya is painted deep black and has a sageo made of black cotton. A finely crafted dragon motif with gold detailing adorns the blackened iron tsuba on both sides.
