God's Wakizashi



The Hanwei Kami Wakizashi blade is hand forged from K120C powdered steel, folded and features a hand-engraved fudo horimono and bo-hi . The folding process results in an exceptional surface grain ( hada ) along the blade, which is further highlighted by the pronounced hamon line.



The highest quality ray skin was used for the tsuka , and the tsuka-ito and sageo are woven from high-quality Japanese silk. Fuchi , kashira , kojiri , koiguchi and kurigata are made of blackened bronze. Embossed decoration and individual details are made of copper, silver and gold.



The tsuba , which represents the guardian spirits of the Shinto religion (kami), is made of hardened and blackened copper and decorated with raised ornaments and individual details in silver and gold. The habaki consists of two parts: a lower part made of copper and an upper part made of gilded brass.



The skirt is painted deep red and has a black section in front of the opening that imitates a curvature.
