The Hanwei Kami Tanto blade is hand forged from K120C powdered steel, folded, and features both a fudo horimono and a bo-hi . The folding process results in an exceptional surface grain ( hada ) along the blade, which is further highlighted by the pronounced hamon line.

The highest quality stingray skin was used for the tsuka , and the sageo is woven from high-quality Japanese silk. Fuchi , kashira , kojiri , koiguchi and kurigata are made of blackened bronze with raised decoration and individual details in copper, silver and gold. The fuchi show the guardian spirits of the Shinto religion (kami).

The habaki consists of two parts: a lower section made of copper and an upper section of gilded brass. The saya is painted deep red and has a black section in front of the opening that imitates a curly coil.

You can complete your collection with the matching kami katana (sh1201) and kami wakizashi (sh1202).
