In the fantasy world of Game of Thrones® , the Dothraki are a warrior-equestrian people who live a nomadic lifestyle on the arid steppes of east-central Essos. Each tribal group, or khalasar, is led by a khal . The arakh is the traditional standard weapon of Dothraki warriors. With its crescent- or sickle-shaped blade, this fearsome weapon is half sword, half scythe.

This is the arakh of the infamous warlord Khal Drogo. This undefeated prince of a massive khalasar of 40,000 men is regarded as a fierce and relentless fighter. In the first season of the series, Drogo marries Daenerys (Dany) Targaryen. Though he initially has little interest in conquering Westeros with his khaleesi , he eventually agrees to help her and his army take the Iron Throne, which belongs to her father (the Mad King). (Aerys II Targaryen) once belonged to him. However, on the way to the Sound, he is wounded during an argument and dies soon after. His khalasar disbands, leaving only a handful of Dothraki who rally around his wife and swear allegiance.

This replica of Khal Drogo's Arakh is a painstakingly crafted, officially licensed reproduction of the real-life prop from HBO's epic fantasy television drama series, Game of Thrones® . This collectible was crafted with the utmost attention to detail, and every effort was made to replicate all the special features of the original prop as closely as possible.
