John Lee Shiro Tanto
Shiro means white, and in Japanese culture it represents, among other things, purity and sanctity, but also sadness and death. As a symbol of the unconditional willingness to fight to the death, samurai wore white clothing under their armor.
- Shinogi zukuri style blade with fuller (bo-hi), hand forged in 1045 carbon steel.
- The blade is sharpened with an integrated hamon line for a particularly authentic appearance.
- White cotton mango wrap in the classic hineri maki style.
- High gloss white lacquered wooden case.
- With a long rod, which is secured to the handle with two bamboo pins (mekugi), allowing the sword to be completely disassembled.
- No plastic is used, only authentic, high-quality materials are used.
- The blade clamp (habaki) and washers (seppa) are made of brass.
- The traditional handle wrap is lined with genuine ray skin.
- All ornaments (tsuba, fuchi, menuki, kashira) are made of metal.
