Masterpiece of Asian blacksmithing

- The sword blades are hand forged from 420 stainless steel.

- The leaves are blunt, have a rounded tip and have a fuller cut (bo-hi) to reduce weight.

- The handles (tsuka) are made of wood, covered with authentic ray skin (seed).

- The handle wraps (tsuka-ito) are traditionally made of black cotton.

- Two menukis embedded in the handles.

- The sword rods are especially long and are fixed to the handle with 2 bamboo pins (mekugi).

- The scabbards (saya) are made of wood, discreetly varnished so that the beautiful grain of the wood remains visible.

- Made according to historical models.

This sword is a training sword with a blunt blade.
