To match the katana, the red wood iaito is now also available as a wakizashi. The name comes from the matt reddish-brown lacquered scabbard, where the wood grain is still clearly visible.



The red wood iaito wakizashi has a blunt hand forged shinogi-zukuri style blade with a fuller blade ( bo-hi ) made of 420 stainless steel. The habaki and seppa are made of brass.
