The tsuba of the John Lee Dragon Wakizashi forms a dragon that encircles the sword. The dragon plays an important and extraordinary role in Japan, in contrast to European culture. It is considered a lucky mythical animal.
- Shinogi zukuri style blade with fuller (bo-hi), hand forged in 1045 carbon steel.
- The blade is sharpened with an integrated hamon line for an especially authentic look.
- Black cotton handle wrap in classic hineri maki style.
- High gloss black lacquered wooden case (kuroro style).
- With a long rod, which is secured to the handle with two bamboo pins (mekugi), allowing the sword to be completely disassembled.
- No plastic is used, only high quality authentic materials are used.
- The blade clamp (habaki) and washers (seppa) are made of brass.
- The traditional handle wrap is lined with genuine ray skin.
- All ornaments (tsuba, fuchi, menuki, kashira) are made of metal.
- Delivered in a protective fabric sleeve in an attractive collector's box.
- Each original John Lee sword comes with a seal and certificate.
