Itzehoe is burning. Itzehoe was able to develop and prosper peacefully for a long time and has largely been spared from war to this day. But in the First Nordic War, the fortified town was attacked by Swedish troops and set on fire. Almost the entire town fell victim to the fire; only the Gothic cloister of St. Lawrence Church was able to withstand the flames and the weather that corrodes it to this day. After the fire, Itzehoe was cleared and rebuilt. Neustadt was born on the Störschleife.

This aromatic, slightly spicy herbal spirit is reminiscent of the great city fire that radically changed and renewed Itzehoe. It burns on the palate, and the flames travel down the throat. The great fire dies down in the belly, leaving room for something new.
