This elegant dao, which was designed by world-renowned martial arts master Sifu Adam Hsu for the traditional Chinese sport of wushu, is made from strong 65mn carbon steel.

For Sifu Hsu, functionality, weight and balance are always crucial factors in all of his designs, and combined with Hanwei’s high standards of quality and workmanship, the result is elegant and beautiful swords. The single-edged blade of this sword has a fuller shape. The curved (oxtail) sword pommel and scabbard with side grooves are designed for quick sword drawing.

There is a metal loop on the pommel of the sword, which is perfect for attaching tassels or sword cloths. This dao with a sharp blade is lightweight, fits comfortably in the hand, and can be effortlessly handled by both beginners and experienced martial artists.
