The miaodao (grain blade saber) is another design by sifu adam hsu.

Weighing less than a kilo, this elegant sword is extremely agile and its carbon steel blade produces a clear, whistling sound with every stroke of the sword.

The handle is wrapped in rattan to prevent slipping.

The sword is ideal for students who are qualified to wield a real sword and use it in the miaodao form, as well as in other martial arts.
