The swedish folk-rock-metal sextet have been delighting fans in northern europe since 1990, and the quintet since 2000. 'hia hia' was released in 1994 and 'grov' in 1996, both critically acclaimed cds. 'hoven droven' is the band's third album, 'hippa' the fourth, released in august 2001. the lads take polskas, waltzes and reels from the dark corners of early sweden and intertwine them with heavy guitars and rock drums and create romantic songs and musical monsters from them.

The band's name itself is a slang expression meaning 'tumult', 'noise' being understood,
