DETAILS

The Dark Elven Blade from Epic Armoury is a short, slashing sword, forged in the cruel style of the Dark Elves. The sword is 65 cm long with a gently curved, single-edged 45 cm blade. The blade is hand-painted to resemble bleached bone with a clawed crossguard and matching pommel. The 12 cm oval handle is wrapped in split leather for a better grip. For added control, a pistol grip ring has been placed on the crossguard.

The blade has a dark, vicious feel that will suit almost any dark character, whether your style is that of a dark elf warrior or an exotic raider. Made with durable closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when building your battlefield kit.

• Inspired by the Shamshir or Cimitar weapons of the Middle East
• Dark elves were first mentioned in Norse mythology, as the Dökkálfar or Svartálfar, written in the Prose Edda in the 13th century.
