John Lee Practical Katana Blade with Wooden Sheath



This katana blade was forged from 1095 carbon steel and traditionally hardened with a layer of clay. It has an authentic hamon line and is fitted with a hollow groove ( bo-hi ). The blade is razor sharp and has a rockwell hardness of 60 hrc at the cutting edge and 40 hrc at the back of the blade.



The scope of delivery includes a brass habaki and an unpainted wooden scabbard, which has kurigata , koiguchi and kojiri made of buffalo horn.



To protect the blade, it is delivered in a high-quality wooden case and a cloth sheath.



The blade and sheath are perfect both as spare parts and for building your own katana.
