John Lee practical katana blade, with wooden sheath
This katana blade was forged from 1095 carbon steel and traditionally clay-hardened. It features a genuine hamon grain and a hollow groove ( bo-hi ). The blade is razor-sharp and has a Rockwell hardness of 60 HRC on the cutting edge and 40 HRC on the back.
The scope of delivery includes a brass habaki and an unpainted wooden scabbard, which has kurigata , koiguchi and kojiri made of buffalo horn.
To protect the blade, it is delivered in a high-quality wooden case and a fabric sheath.
The blade and sheath are perfect both as spare parts and for building your own katana.
