This medieval axe blade is hand-forged from a single piece of carbon steel. The surface is deliberately not polished to a high shine. The visible hammer marks caused by forging give the axe blade a very rustic and authentic appearance.
These types of axes were already used as weapons and tools in the High Middle Ages.

- Cutting thickness: almost sharp, but not sharp

- The blade eye (shaft hole) measures approximately 31 x 23 mm.
