This beautiful brass accessory is perfect for all your creative DIY projects. Your imagination and creativity are limitless, whether you want to design your own Viking belt or decorate a leather bag with it.
The original from which this fitting was made dates back to the 8th to 11th centuries and was found at the Swedish Viking settlement of Birka. The brass fitting is decorated with animal motifs and intertwined knots, typical of the Borre style. On the back are three rivet pins, approximately 1 cm long, with which the fitting can be easily attached to a leather belt or bag.
The belt attachment is ideal for your own belt creations and also as a replacement part. It goes perfectly with Viking Age attire and is the ideal accessory for reenactments, LARP, or costumes. It's not only a stylish addition to any historical, fictional, or fantasy outfit, but also a great accessory in modern everyday life.

The erase style
... It was followed by the Oseberg style in the 9th century and lasted until the mid-10th century. The Borre , or exciting animal style, of the High Middle Ages is named after the Norwegian town of Borre, located on the Oslo Fjord. Animal motifs and knots are the hallmarks of this style, which was later replaced by the Jelling style.
