Get Halsberg, Early Middle Ages, 1.6mm Steel.
Necklace, early middle ages
A very pretty and wearable reconstruction of a 13th century French collar (harness necklace). The original was in the Wallace collection for a long time, but is now in the Louvre in Paris. It has been described in detail by Sir Guy Francis Laking in his book A Record of European Armour and Arms Through Seven Centuries.
The width of the collar can be individually adjusted using the leather strap on the right side. The individual parts are riveted together and therefore cannot be removed.
Details:
- Material: 1.6mm steel, brass rivets
- Weight: 1.65 kg
- Finish: polished (lightly oiled)
