But since the recent launch of its own state-of-the-art forge, Cold Steel® is able to offer a truly exceptional axe to meet your needs.



The cold steel® viking long axe is impressively long and its thin blade has been hand polished to an incredible sharpness. It has a robust cutting edge about 25 cm long that ends in two sharp horns or points. The longer upper point was commonly used for stabbing or parrying, while the slightly shorter lower point was used to capture an enemy shield or to capture and immobilize an opponent by the neck, arm or leg.



To maximize leverage, power, and movement abilities, the Viking Long Axe is equipped with a very stable and sturdy shaft. Made in the US state of Maine from the finest American Hickory wood available, this shaft enhances and enhances the Viking Long Axe's incredible potential as a chopping and splitting instrument.
