DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Gothic Axe is a deadly 3-foot axe designed for noble hands. It features a 11-inch axe head and a curved claw and pick for versatile combat. The head is hand-painted to look like real metal, adorned with riveted brass bands, though it's made of soft foam. The blade head attaches to the shaft, which is hand-painted and sculpted to look like matching metal.

Made from durable closed-cell foam around a solid 10mm fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, your new LARP axe will give you the safety and appeal you want when building your Sovereign kit.

HISTORY

• The first hafted axe was created approximately 6,000 BC using birch tar and rawhide lashings to secure the blade to its handle.
• Many battle axes served as tools and were cheaper to make than swords.
