DETAILS

The Dark Elven Axe from Epic Armoury is a weapon specifically designed for the Dark Elven collection. The Dark Elven Axe is 65cm long and has a large spiked head. The 32cm long axe head is crescent-shaped and serrated, designed to resemble a claw or bone. The 55cm handle has a dark wood finish, adding to the weapon's shadowy appearance.

Made from durable closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the security and appeal you desire when creating your battlefield kit.

HISTORY

• The first handled axe was created approximately 6,000 years BC using birch tar and rawhide lashings to secure the blade to its handle.
• Many battle axes served as tools and were cheaper to make than swords.
