Early medieval hammer axe, blunt, suitable for show combat



Authentic replica of a hammer axe blade from the early Middle Ages, as used by Vikings and Slavs. The axe blade is hand forged from high quality carbon steel. Due to its production and material strength, it is ideal for fighting shows. The cutting edge is blunt and the edges are rounded to avoid damaging enemy weapons and armour as much as possible.



The axe blade is deliberately not polished to a high gloss. The visible hammer marks caused by forging give the axe blade a very rustic and authentic look.



This is just the axe blade. Delivery is without shaft!
