Aside from maces, riding axes were typical cutting weapons of the Renaissance. The sharp point of the rider's axe could easily penetrate even thick plate armor.

Our replica comes with a solid wood shaft. The end of the brass shaft is decorated with a bird's claw holding a ball. A very decorative piece!
