Apart from maces, riding axes were the typical cutting weapons of the Renaissance. The sharp tip of the rider's axe could easily penetrate even thick plate armour.

Our replica comes with a solid wood shaft. The end of the brass shaft is decorated with a bird claw holding a ball. A very decorative piece!
