The officially licensed USMC Field Axe with Sheath is a compact survival tool that is an absolutely essential addition to a survival kit or camping and hiking gear. It has a sharp 3 1/2mm thick, 16.5 x 9cm stainless steel axe head with a stonewashed finish and is secured to the handle with heavy duty screws. The sturdy olive drab ABS handle is wrapped in black paracord, which flows through a lanyard hole to a wrist strap. The axe has an overall length of 28.6cm and the head is protected by a nylon belt sheath, also making it comfortable to carry.
