Although Cold Steels® Viking Battle Axe was designed as a stand-alone weapon, it can also be combined with a sword, shield or longsword.



You can hack, slash and stab so tirelessly that any Viking worth his salt would envy you. The axe blade is forged and has a wide, arc-shaped cutting edge that ends in two sharp horns or spikes. This means that the axe can be used to stab and parry, as well as hook an opponent's shield or limbs.



As a cold steels® Viking bearded axe with a high-quality hickory wood handle. And with a length of 76 cm it offers enough space to use it with both hands!



1055 carbon steel

The carbon content and relatively low levels of other materials in this steel make it a very stable material, free of the brittleness inherent in most high carbon steels. This steel is ideal for blades that need to have a high impact resistance and is therefore often used for large fixed knives, machetes and swords.
