You bang your double-pronged battle axe on the table as you wait for the finest dark ale you know. The tavern was silent before you entered, tense with anticipation of a coming war, but you are loud and bring life back to its walls. You raise a toast to the bartender and everyone nearby, granting them glory on the battlefield before drinking deeply from your mug.

It would be a real shame to leave this world thirsty.

DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Double-Headed Battle Axe is the perfect latex weapon for northern dwarven warriors. Featuring a sturdy crescent-shaped head that curves into the textured wood handle, this axe is designed to be effective in close combat. Each head has a 45cm long, curved edge, and its 16cm width is secured to the handle by a large gold plate. The weapon measures 80cm in length, with a sculpted pommel and a 17cm split leather-wrapped handle.

Made with durable closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the security and appeal you desire when building your battlefield kit.

HISTORY

• The first handled axe was created around 6,000 BC using birch tar and rawhide lashings to secure the blade to its handle.
• Many battle axes served as tools and were cheaper to make than swords.
