Get the Hammered Battle Axe
Inspired by 16th century Venetian weapons
This reconstruction of a hammered battle axe is based on historical models used in Venice around 1530. This type of combination weapon, also known as a butchering axe , was very popular with infantry in Central and Northern Europe from the mid-15th century. Its design made it as effective on the battlefield as it was symbolically intimidating.
The piece is forged from solid steel , with a robust structure that remains true to its original dimensions. On one side, it features a wide, curved blade , ideal for devastating cuts. On the other, it features a powerful hammer perfect for breaking armor or shields, making it a versatile tool feared by its opponents.
The axe is delivered without a shaft, ideal for customizing with the handle of your choice to complete a combat weapon with a high visual and historical impact.
