Your elven wing axe was given to you by an elven blacksmith many years ago. You and your party have performed an incredible deed for the elven people, and he claimed that one day this axe would save your life. You remember those words now as you face the orc raiders.

With great skill and the fantastic effectiveness of your elven weapon, you find yourself able to hold off the enemy. Not all members of your party are so lucky: the archer has fallen again, to no one's surprise, but it's quite possible that you'll come out on top in the end!

DETAILS

The Elven Wing Axe from Epic Armoury is the perfect weapon for elven warriors. With a graceful crescent-shaped head that curves into the textured wood handle, this axe is designed to be effective in mid-range combat. The head has a 70cm long, curved edge and is crafted to resemble a bird's feathers, and its 16cm width is secured to the handle by a decorative gold plate. The weapon measures 150cm in length and is realistically sculpted and painted.

Made with durable closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the security and appeal you desire when building your battlefield kit.

HISTORY

• The first hafted axe was created approximately 6,000 years BC using birch tar and rawhide lashings to secure the blade.
• Many battle axes also served as tools and were cheaper to make than swords.
• Axes are still very prevalent today and are one of the most common tools found in most homes around the world.
