The axe was a weapon as frequently used in the Viking Age as the sword and the spear.
This replica of a Viking axe with the exotic cross shape on the blade was inspired by a find on the Swedish island of Gotland.
The axe head is made of EN45 spring steel and has a blunt edge. It is attached to the wooden shaft with rivets.
