The axe was one of the most important weapons for the medieval knight, especially during the crusades. This sturdy weapon features a large, expertly sharpened blade with a large cross inlaid into it. The blade is riveted to the wooden shaft and features springs for extra grip. The handle has been smoothed and wrapped in smooth black leather. All metal parts are blackened, including the hanging loops at the bottom. Crafted by the master blacksmiths at Windlass Steelcrafts. Comes complete with a leather sheath for the axe head.
