This historically inspired axe is the result of a collaboration between Cold Steels® President Lynn C. Thompson and custom knifemakers Dave Baker and Rich McDonald.



Here a strong hickory handle approximately 76 cm long, an extra wide and sharp cutting edge, a beard (for hooking) and a curved top tip of the blade (for thrusting) were brought together to create an impressive battle axe that could become the pride of any Viking collection.
