Treat yourself to a bearded axe with a helmet roof, suitable for show fights.
Medieval bearded axe with helmet roof, for show combat
Hand-forged axe blade made of high-quality carbon steel.
A fully battle-ready replica of Scandinavian axe blades from the early to early Middle Ages. The bearded axe blade is stepped at the bottom; this layer usually narrowed to a point and was called a helmet roof . With it, the axe could pierce deep holes even in thick helmets and seriously injure the opponent. This is why this axe shape is called a helmet roof .
This axe blade is ideal for combat shows due to its craftsmanship and material strength. Hand-forged from a single piece of steel, the edge is blunt and the edges are rounded to minimize damage to enemy weapons and armor.
The axe blade is deliberately not polished to a high gloss. The visible hammer marks caused by forging give the axe blade a very rustic and authentic appearance.
