The Condor Tool single-point throwing axe head is made from 1075 carbon steel, heat-treated and annealed to a Rockwell hardness of approximately 50-55. The blade is black powder-coated. The paracord-wrapped handle is constructed from genuine 550 lb. test parachute line that includes seven inner strands that can be deployed for later use in situations where a piece of rope may not be sufficient. One of the inner strands can also be stretched further to provide fishing line, sewing thread, or assistance in any situation where thin, strong thread is needed. The included sheath is made of high-quality canvas with a leather belt loop.
