The Condor Tool Double-Ended Throwing Axe head is made from 1075 carbon steel, heat-treated and annealed to a Rockwell hardness of approximately 50-55. The blade has a black powder coat. The paracord-wrapped handle is made with actual 550 lb test parachute cord that includes seven inner strands that can be fanned out for later use in situations where a single piece of cord may not be enough. One of the inner strands can also be stretched further to provide fishing line, sewing thread, or any other aid where a thin, strong line is needed. The included sheath is made of high-quality canvas with a leather belt loop.
