DETAILS

This successful Ready For Battle broadaxe is a two-pronged war weapon suitable for the toughest fighters. The Broadaxe has a 65 cm handle with a large crescent-shaped blade and a mean-looking prong. The blade measures just over 30 cm wide and 40 cm across.

The sword is well complemented by a battle-ready wooden shield, sword, or dagger. Made with durable closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when creating your kit, whether for a Viking, an orc, or a barbarian.

HISTORY

• The first handled axe was created around 6000 BC using birch tar and rawhide lashings to secure the blade to its handle.
• Many battle axes served as tools and were cheaper to make than swords.
