"He had stumbled upon a group of dead dark elves that morning. All had been turned to stone by the basilisk that made the area its home. So now he, Baggaz the goblin, had a dark elf glaive to wield. It had instantly made him king of his tribe. Now, he sat upon his throne, holding the weapon that dwarfed him as his subjects kowtowed to him. One of his new servants approached him, offering him a plate of tasty insects, and he bit into it, enjoying the crunchy parts that stuck to his teeth as the insect slithered down his throat. Yes, Baggaz the King sounded good."

Epic Armoury's Eventide Glaive takes its design cues from several sources. The weapon type is a glaive, but it takes its crossguard from the Japanese naginata (generally considered another type of glaive), as is typical of its design. In appearance, it is closely linked to modern dark elves and the classic Norse mythology of Svartálfar. It is a latex hybrid weapon featuring closed-cell foam, a fiberglass core, and a latex coating for durability. The glaive is 220 cm long, with a 72 cm long blade. Additionally, it can be split in two using a threaded bolt system, allowing you to use the top half of the glaive as a sword, provided you first cover the bolt securely. The shaft of the weapon is finely sculpted to resemble dark mahogany, where the grooves in the wood can be seen. This and the gilded detailing along with the steel look give it a deadly appearance.
