A few years ago, Cold Steel® launched a new series of high-quality Japanese swords called the Emperor Series . Customer feedback was very positive, but the realization arose that there were also lovers of Asian bladed weapons who would like to purchase a battle-ready sword at a more affordable price.

The introduction of the Warrior series was the logical response to this demand. Like the Emperor swords, the Warrior collection models are made from high-strength 1060 steel. The hardening and sharpness of the blades are also identical, reducing production costs.
However, the complicated high-gloss polishing process was dispensed with in favor of a more practical finish. The Warrior collection is therefore the perfect choice for training and cutting tests (tameshigiri) without damaging the blade.
