A few years ago Cold Steel® released a new series of high quality Japanese swords called the Emperor Series . Customer feedback was very positive, but the idea arose that there are also lovers of Asian edged weapons who would like to buy a battle-ready sword at a cheaper price.



The introduction of the Warrior Series was the logical response to this demand. Like the Emperor swords, the models in the Warrior Collection are made from high-strength 1060 steel. The hardening and sharpness of the blades are also identical. in order to reduce production costs.
However, the complicated high-gloss polishing was dispensed with in favour of a more practical finish. The Warrior collection is therefore the perfect choice for training and cutting tests (tameshigiri) without damaging the blade.
