You strap your armor over your Warrior Gambeson, preparing for battle. You'll never tell them what stories might be true, but they'll be able to see for themselves your prowess in battle once you enter the field and dominate once again.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury's Warrior Gambeson w. Short Sleeves is a padded coat that covers the torso from the neck down to the hips in the front and back. It can be worn alone or serve as essential padding under chainmail or armor. The gambeson dons like a jacket and closes in the front with five leather straps and brass buckles, allowing the wearer to customize the fit. This model comes with short sleeves, but long sleeves can be purchased separately and are easily fastened using cotton cords at the shoulders and sleeves, each cord secured through durable brass grommets.

This sturdy gambeson, thick enough to serve as its own armor, is constructed of heavy layers of 100% spongy polyester sandwiched between layers of heavy 100% cotton twill. All of these layers are stitched together in vertical lines, keeping the padding in place and mimicking a classic High Medieval European style.

Although European in cut, gambeson or padded style armor has been used around the world since antediluvian times, making the Warrior Gambeson an excellent basic armor with a variety of possibilities regardless of time and place.

The Warrior Gambeson's outer shell is made of 100% cotton twill. The padding is 100% polyester. The lining is 100% cotton.
