Gothic arm guards, 1.2 mm steel, pair
Forearm splint, arm splint, elbows
This fully articulated, wearable replica of late medieval plate armour is made from 1.2 mm (18 gauge) steel and blackened on the inside for better protection against corrosion. It protects the forearms, elbows and upper arms and has the multi-layered design typical of late medieval Gothic plate armour (15th and 16th centuries).
The arm truss consists of an elbow piece, a forearm splint and an upper arm splint. The necessary mobility is provided by a carriage, on which the individual elements are connected to each other by strong steel rivets.
Three adjustable leather straps of approximately 2 mm thickness with brass buckles are riveted to the back. This means that individual size adjustment can easily be made.
The edges are decorated with grooves and small steel rivets, and the elbows are fitted with flower-shaped steel discs, slightly curved inwards, riveted to the sides (see also our floating discs – art. 1016634200).
These articulated bracers are ideal for late medieval and renaissance settings. They are equally suited to portraying a variety of historical figures and fictional or fantasy characters and will make your transformation into a proud and noble knight or warrior simply perfect, regardless of whether it is a medieval reenactment, larp, theatre, tv/film, costume or cosplay.
This is a pair, that is, protection for both arms.

To ensure the armor is right for you, remember to take your measurements with the gambeson (and/or any other garments or chains you plan to wear underneath).
The steel used here is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. We recommend taking care of plate armour regularly, for example with Ballistol, a universal oil ideal for preserving steel products.
