This beautiful, high-quality Viking arm warmer is made of sturdy, vegetable-tanned and dyed leather. For optimal comfort, the interior is lined with soft suede. The arm guard is lined with round pins and eyelets made of antique-finished brass and comes with a sturdy leather strap for individual tying to the wrist. Two riveted snakes or dragons with a knot pattern (also made of antique-finished brass) decorate the center of the cuff. Snakes and dragons are a recurring motif in Celtic and Norse/Viking art. They are often depicted as two-headed creatures.
