DETAILS

Epic Armoury's Second Grade Black Leather Gauntlet is a durable, vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather gauntlet with discoloration and an unfinished lining (see photos). This discoloration and lining do not affect the security of this armor and are not easily visible while worn. Rather than discarding them and wasting material, we offer them at a reduced price to suit the needs of your more rugged character.

Made of two overlapping oblong knuckle guards and a thumb guard, the fingers are protected up to the first joint. These knuckle guards are placed on a larger plate to protect the back of the hand, which sits over a large cuff that covers the wrist and forearm. All elements are stitched around the edges to add structure and prevent warping. Additionally, the knuckle and thumb guards are convexly shaped to add extra rigidity to the leather.

Secure this gauntlet to your hand by sliding it through the leather straps attached to the knuckle and thumb guards. The cuff is decorated with flattened leather laces and is adjustable with a system of leather straps and brass knobs.

The gauntlet can be worn with Epic Armory's Thief or Falcon gloves, or on its own. The style is timeless and subdued, and it's fully compatible with other Epic Armory leather and metal armor, giving you the freedom to customize your costume.

Please note: Each glove is sold separately, so you can purchase a left-handed glove or a right-handed glove.
