This archer's glove (also called a y-glove) is made of brown leather, is worn on the left hand over the thumb and forefinger and is fastened with a velcro fastener at the wrist. If your bow does not have an arrow rest (which is not uncommon for historical bows) then this glove will protect you from injury, as arrows are shot over the back of the hand and their feathers can cause injury.
