Get Maldon Seax Battlecry, Viking Knife
Battlecry madon seax, Viking knife
This medieval Maldon Seax knife from the Battlecry collection is fitted with a sword-style handle and, due to its size, can be used as a work knife as well as a battle dagger. It's a solid and well-balanced piece.
The blade shape features a thick back edge that curves down to a straight point, giving the Sax (Seax) both slashing and chopping power. Specifically designed to be tough, with a blade made from 1065 high carbon steel, with a blackened and hardened finish, an extra-wide tang, and hardened to a low 50 HRC. This pre-sharpened blade has undergone rigorous testing. Handcrafted by master blacksmiths makes this line unique. Includes a matching sheath with belt loops and a certificate of authenticity signed by every smith who has touched your sword at every step.
The variety of different historical knives and daggers is immense. Yet, many of them can be traced back in some way to just a handful of proven designs. One of the most practical and functional is one that isn't very well known: the Viking seax. As a useful tool and deadly weapon, it's the little sister of its better-known big brother, the Viking sword.
