The Cold Steel® Biden-Handed Greatsword is the largest sword they make. But don’t be fooled by the size – there’s nothing bulky or cumbersome about this large weapon. Of course, this two-handed sword is long and heavy and must be carried over the shoulder, but it’s extremely well-balanced and easy to handle for tall, strong people.



Weighing in at around 3kg and with a 1m long carbon steel blade, it can literally cut down any pikeman or swordsman, and can deflect rifle butt and bayonet attacks just as effectively.



In German, this large two-handed sword was also known as a gassenhauer because it could be used to cut through enemy lines.



To protect the hands from enemy weapons, the sword has an impressive guard with protective rings. Further on, the guards not only provide additional protection, but also allow the blade to be shortened for slashing and stabbing attacks in close combat. The leather-covered wooden handle is especially long to offer a firm grip and enough room for both hands. It ends with a heavy steel pommel, which forms a good counterweight to the long blade and can serve as an effective striking weapon in its own right.



The bidenhanded greatsword is sturdy, strong, sharp and fully combat ready.
