The dark leather and functional design make this neck protector an essential piece of survival gear in the dark, and you wouldn't be without it.
DETAILS
The Dark Elf Gorget from Epic Armoury is a leather armor designed to protect the neck and upper chest. Made from full-grain black leather, this armor is constructed of multiple overlapping plates, creating flexibility and comfort while protecting the chest and neck. The shoulder plates are removable and shaped in the traditional Dark Elf fashion. All exposed edges are reinforced with durable stitching to prevent warping from excessive use.
Secure the Dark Elf Gorget around your neck by slipping your head through the neck hole (the back will open to allow you to do this) and tightening the leather straps around your ribcage. Fearsome to behold and designed to look sharp and deadly, wear this armor with a variety of secretive and dangerous characters. Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay supple and extend their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it frequently gets wet and dries, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
