Finn hawk®, outdoor knife



The Finn Hawk® design is the collaboration between Andrew Demko and Lynn C. Thompson and is the latest model in Cold Steels® range of cost-effective and durable bushcraft and outdoor tools.



Its 4116 German steel blade with a Scandinavian cut in the traditional Nordic style has been given high edge strength through low-temperature treatment, and the pronounced 7.5 mm wide bevel and practical curved belly are ideal for skinning and slicing. In addition, the approximately 10.2 cm (4 inches) blade is long enough for most game processing tasks and, of course, for work around the camp or food preparation.



The Finn Hawk® handle was manufactured using a two-stage injection molding process. The first layer of impact-resistant polypropylene is tough, durable and extremely weather-resistant, and the outer layer of thermoplastic rubber (TPR) with a spiral pattern provides a secure, comfortable and food-safe gripping surface even in the worst conditions.



The Finn® Falcon comes complete with an ultra-slim Secure-Ex® polymer holster with integrated belt loop.



4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless knife steel. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. Very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges can be ground. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
