The Finn Hawk® is a collaboration between Andrew Demko and Lynn C. Thompson and is the latest in Cold Steels®'s line of cost-effective, durable bushcraft and outdoor tools.

Its 4116 German steel blade, featuring a traditional Nordic Scandinavian cut, has been low-temperature treated for extra edge strength. The sharp 7.5 mm wide bevel and practical curved belly are ideal for skinning and slicing. Plus, the approximately 10.2 cm (4 inch) blade is long enough for most game processing tasks, and of course, for camp work or food preparation.

The Finn Hawk® handle is manufactured using a two-stage injection molding process. The first layer of impact-resistant polypropylene is tough, durable, and extremely weather-resistant, and the outer layer of thermoplastic rubber (TPR) with a swirl pattern provides a secure, comfortable, and food-safe grip even in the harshest conditions.

The Finn® Falcon comes complete with an ultra-thin Secure-Ex® polymer sheath with integrated belt loop.

4116 stainless steel knife

4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless steel for knives. It is often used for pharmaceutical equipment and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures first-class rust protection and high strength. It can be ground to very fine and extremely sharp cutting edges. An excellent choice for hunting/outdoor knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
