Fiebing's acrylic resolene is the most widely used finishing coat for dyed, patinated, or polished leather. Fine, durable, and water-repellent, Fiebing's resolene varnish is ideal as a top coat for sealing smooth leather shoes, bags, and more.
Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene can also be used to prevent staining of purchased leather goods.

How to use:
- The surface to be sealed must be dry and clean.
- For a perfect result, we recommend applying Fiebing's Resolene in several thin coats, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next.
- When using an airbrush, spray only lightly for each coat. If using a sponge, first dampen it with water and apply Resolene in long, sweeping motions to prevent sticky residue. Be careful not to use too much in each coat to avoid bubbling (otherwise, rings will be visible after drying).
- Depending on the amount applied, the result after drying varies from a silky matte to an intense shine.
- If you want to use Fiebing's Resolene to protect purchased leather goods (e.g., handbags) from discoloration, thoroughly clean the leather beforehand with a dirt film remover to remove the existing finish.

Please note:
- Neutral resolene may appear bluish when wet, but when dry it is colorless/transparent.
- Resolene is not suitable for use on suede/chamois.
- Resolene loses its effect at temperatures below zero.
