Fiebing's Leather Dye is the world's most widely used alcohol-based leather dye. Deeply penetrating, even-drying, and easy to mix, this high-quality smooth leather dye has been specially developed for untreated leather and produces excellent, permanent coverage. Ideal for coloring (dying or recoloring) shoes, bags, etc.

Instructions for use:

Thoroughly clean the leather with a dirt film remover to remove existing finishes and sealants.

When damp, after cleaning, apply the paint evenly with a wool brush (a dauber ). For larger areas, a sponge, chamois cloth, or airbrush gun is best. If necessary, a second coat of paint can be applied.

After dyeing, remove excess dye by rubbing vigorously with a soft cloth. If you want to seal the dyed leather, let it dry completely for a few days before removing the excess dye. For sealing (and a high-gloss finish), we recommend Fiebing's Resolene acrylic finishing varnish.

Please note:

- Color coverage may vary depending on the type of tanning and absorbency of the leather being dyed. The slower the application and the larger the amount used, the deeper the color penetrates and the darker it becomes.

- The paint is not suitable for coloring furniture or seats! It is also not possible to re-dye finished leather.
